Alberta Curling Federation welcomes Kersten Morris as Championships Coordinator

The Alberta Curling Federation (ACF) is pleased to announce the hiring of Kersten Morris.

 

Kersten will be taking on the role of Championships Coordinator with the ACF and will be involved primarily with the coordination of Provincial Championships.

 

“I look forward to joining the ACF in this new role and to once again be working with our amazing Albertan curling community” says Morris.

 

Kersten Morris has more than 15 years of experience working in sport, health and wellness. While working with Curling Canada, she helped organize the 2017 Ford World Men's Curling Championship. Kersten has also worked with Special Olympics Alberta, and as a Manager at Edmonton's Bissell Centre. Kersten’s strengths surround strategic planning, team leadership, program development and community engagement. Kersten believes in the importance of working collaboratively and utilizing diverse strengths to perform efficiently and effectively. Morris believes this is key to a healthy and effective work environment.

 

Growing up, Kersten also has a background as a competitive athlete.
